Wifi is evolving rapidly with new applications, mobile devices and network equipment arriving continuously in the marketplace. Yet Wifi delivers less performance than cheap, ubiquitous Ethernet and is also perceived to be less reliable and less secure. This session will explore whatís behind this dichotomy with a panel that will discuss the business motivations for adopting wireless, the market drivers for mobile devices, and the some of the major issues that exist in deploying a large scale wifi network.

Enterprise messaging is under direct attack today from spam, spim, phishing and viruses. Additional risk has long been present from intellectual property leakage and privacy violations through non-compliant messaging, though the superlinear growth in use of electronic messaging across the corporate threshold, and the addition of new capabilities and new protocols, has significantly increased the security workload and the need for technical mitigation. This panel will address these issues, with a focus on new threats to the enterprise, both against messaging infrastructure and against other assets via messaging-borne attacks. The discussion will focus on existing and emerging technical mitigation of risk from these threats.
